The therapeutic relationship that develops between your child and their Play Therapist is the single most important factor in your child’s therapy. As it is with adults, your child will need to feel completely safe and comfortable before they can share things that worry them deeply. This type of trusting environment can only form over time and if the sessions are regular and predictable. This is why sessions are held on regular days and at the same time and in the same place. Unplanned missed sessions do disrupt progress.
