Therapy Groups aim for deep and significant change and are open ended. This is not because they are slow to work. There are no true quick fixes. Most of our ways of being take decades to form and so can be slow to shift. How long you stay will depend on the nature of what you want to work on, your degree of commitment and the value that the group provides. Ideally, members leave when they have achieved what they set out to do and this is usually discussed with the help of the group and the conductor.
